As we head into the last month of winter sports, I want to thank you for your support, patience and flexibility. Covid quarantines, schedule changes, transportation, digital tickets, hybrid, remote, the list of changes continues to grow, and you have all been amazing!
KSHSAA has changed the spectator guidelines to allow up to four spectators at athletic events starting on January 29th. The Blue Valley School District has modified that to allow a maximum of four family members at HOME events and two family members at AWAY events. Some venues will still be limited to two or fewer spectators due to capacity and the number of teams competing. All tickets purchased must be accessed through the Hometown ticket platform and you will continue to use your student’s ID as your passcode.
What does this mean at BVH events?
- Any combination of four family members can now attend our events, if they have a son/daughter participating in that event.
- There will not be a student section. Any BVH students who attend because they have a sibling participating, must sit with their family members.
- We have added a $5 Student/55+ ticket to the Hometown options for you to purchase tickets for siblings/grandparents.
- You will only be able to have a maximum of four tickets in your cart.
Other schools/districts may have different guidelines. As I get that information, I will share that with our coaches. Thank you, in advance, for respecting those varying guidelines.
Post-season competitions may have different guidelines. As we get closer to that time, I will share those guidelines with you.
